Thanks for the reply.
I checked the document required info in detail. The info is quite confusing. It requires me to submit a PCC issued by the Govt. Of India. It also says multiple in brackets but then in details asks for 'a' PCC. However, in India, the PCC is issued by the concerned state's criminal investigation department (CID) . This is even mentioned on the cic website. I have already provided the same with my initial application. Also, why would they ask for multiple PCCs from the same country. I have raised a CSE request. Waiting for the reply. Meanwhile, I have applied for a fresh PCC. My initial PCC is still valid (6 months validity).
Where did you got your initial PCC from? You mentioned CID- well if that’s the case then that’s the reason they are asking again. PCC issued by PSK is the one accepted by CIC

They're asking you for a new PCC. Probably The one you submitted before wasn't the right one. Ask around for the best approach to getting a PCC from India and send them a new one.
That's one of the probablities for sure. I have asked them to explain the specifications of the document in more detail. Also, I have applied for a new PCC already through a central / Federal govt. portal. I am just confused if they need a different PCC for every city that I have lived in India.

Earlier I had applied directly with the CID headquarter in my state. But now I have applied through PSK. Hope this works out well. Don't know what this means with respect to the other aspects of my application

You are really lucky - There website clearly mentions PCC from which institution is acceptable and there have been many cases on this forum itself whose application have been rejected on this ground. So now pls submit PCC through PSK.

Well, I didn't know about it. I was trying to save time back then. But a lesson learnt and learnt well. I have a follow up question. Do I need to get individual PCCs from all the addresses where I have lived for more than 6 months within India. Thanks in advance.

I am July 15 and... nothing yet
But yes, that would be the best xmas present ever
congrats
I see some movement in my profile every time I order GCMS notes. Though it might be a coincidence. Last time I ordered the notes, my application immediately moved to IP2. And this time I got ghost update.
Cheer up, ev

Progress bar status
The progress bar in ur profile is movable or fixed. For Example 5 days ago u saw 20 days left for completion of ur application . If u check today still show 20 days left or 15 days left on progress bar and color increased or no?
