Hello Everybody,

I've just posted this in August forum but I know few people only hang out in June & July so I'd just like to post it here as well.
I've been lurking around in June, July and August AOR forums since my August 14, 2018 AOR. My recent experience prompted me to finally contribute to the discussion with my two cents: Do not trust call center agents.

I have been calling CIC to check up on my file once a month from my third month onwards. That's three calls with CIC in total, I called in Nov, Dec, and the beginning of Jan. Each time I've been told that my file looks good, everything seems to be in order, eligibility is recommended pass and criminality is ongoing.

I received my ATIP file today and guess what, eligibility is marked NOT MET in October. OCTOBER. They didn't consider my second post secondary diploma due to a lack of equivalency assessment and deducted those points. ( It is a worldwide, highly revered vocational school for which WES doesn't provide an assessment for and their branch here told me they cant either because my diploma from UK is far superior than what they offer in Canada.)

So there. Many thanks to everyone on this forum as without you I'd likely never order my GCMS notes and find this out. I raised a CSE and sent an e-mail to CIO Sydney. I hope that we still have a chance to amend this and haven't been refused just yet.

A little information about my file: FSW-Inland applicant with August 14 AOR and one dependent. Score: 442. From what I can tell from my GCMS notes case officer looked at my file in October and marked it not met and thats the last time it was touched.

take care y'all
It's possible that it was recommended passed in November a month after your first note was generated. Order a new one to be sure.
Ps: I hope you got a difftent ECA For that degree if you claimed points for it.

Hello @tobs and @All

AOR: 25th July 2018.

I just received my first gcms notes. Would you mind helping me clarify somethings:
1) I got married post AOR (18.09) and informed CIC immediately, submitted all docs required

2) Notes show that my marital status changed and my husband was added to the application on 09.11

3) Oue medicals are both passed

4) I uploaded my PCC online at point of PR application submission on 25/07 and submitted my Husband's PCC via web form alongside other docs. Under "Police Certificate", my Husband's section showed received but in my field, it appears like I never submitted PCC. Why is that ?

5) I submitted docs (IMM5406 and 5669) via webform that my husband would be accompanying but under Adaptability, "Client accompanying spouse" shows N. I am not sure I understand why the notes doesn't reflect this but reflect medicals, PCC and other docs I submitted. NB: the IMM5669 and 5406 forms were submitted the same time with the aforementioned docs

6) on the first page of the notes, number of potential visas shows "2". This contradicts what we have under adaptability (as highlighted above). Not sure which info is correct.

6) last page of notes shows POF was met for 1 applicant instead of 2. Meanwhile, I submitted updated POF for two applicants. Not sure why this isn't reflecting.

7) I am a little bit nervous as I won't want to get a PPR for just me and have to wait for another while to get that of my Hubz.

8) Not sure if I am reading the notes correctly....does the recent update show in the first or last few pages?

I can't comment on most of your questions, but I believe question #5 has to do with whether your spouse has a sibling in Canada or not. I think it corresponds to the following question in the CRS: "Do you or your spouse or common law partner (if they will come with you to Canada) have at least one brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident?"

Others can correct me if I'm wrong.

I think all these show that your spouses application has been successfully included with yours. Some of the info predates when you added your spouse but it's nothing to worry about.
What does it say about your eligibility?

Please what does info sharing on gcms notes mean? For the Biometric type, it shows status: No fingerprints. My AOR is 25,07. Biometrics mandate was given 31.07. Didn't get a letter from cic requesting for Biometric. Am I still on track ? Is there anything to worry about ?

The notes section that you are seeing must have been on a date much before your husband addition on file. Check the date of notes by case analyst- it must be before your spouse addition. They don't make a second set of notes or update the first set even after you add a family member. I added my child on my application. The notes never mentioned anything about my child. It also showed POF for 2 members. But in other sections my kids detail were showing . So dont worry. Also if your eligibility is showing as met or passed. Then you are good.

No, you need to check the last pages of the notes. There you will find specific review details for your application. if you want, you can just post it here (hide sensitive info) and we will help you analyse it.
