In my case- The last I spoke was like 15 days back. Agent told me elig is met, criminality passed and security they are reviewing. So security has started in my case. But agent also mentioned it will be done soon.

Thank you for your response... I asked the agent by phone clearly if I am under SS he said just ongoing not ss...all this is very confusing.
He told that they are doing the security check but did not mention when it will finish.
No reason this is why I'm asking I even don't know what SS means... I'm a good person.
I still think there's a chance you're not in SS. Fingers crossed.
@sissi25 - @Alberta Semi Skilled got his PPR in around 12 months and in his case also he got the same reply from IRCC- and he was in SS. Just FYI.

I just received an email from IRCC like 15 minutes ago stating that from December 12, 2018 they are going to put a progress bar in our profile to show the estimated completion date based on their latest estimated processing time.
This is something totally new and it might help to give us more insight about our applications. who knows!
