simple advice,
I am not sure most of you ever left the country or not?
going abroad is not a big, even after you migrate you will face lot challenges in security with the job, other kinds of stuff.
so moving to Canada is not escaping the hell and reaching heaven,

1. still you need to work hard,
2. 33 percent tax
3. if you make anything less than 400 grans a year still life is normal, you are not rich, middle-classes family,
just another labor in the street side for the economy
4. health care is good for big life threatening problems, small things you can't get anything,
5. the cost of living is high especially if you are paying rent, and you need to have an own car, life insurance
what you make a year, you will spend everything and still be poor and insecure, life runs on credit
life is not green
6. don't think after you move to Canada you will have a shower with gold, diamond etc.
if you buy a house it will take 15 years to back the mortgage loan.
you will be running your life with credit and in between if you the loose job for any reason, your paradise credit life will over.

********************************************************
good aspects:
1.peaceful life
2.good education(not free)
3.good climate(extreme cold but )
4.less crime rate
5.woman safety and rights are good.
6.if you divorce half of the property will go to ex-wife,
7.anyone can sue you if the slipped infront your home due lack of cleaning of snow
8. strict driving rules

authorities will take time to verify, no one is going to reject you because you come from India, Pakistan Indonesia etc.
if you are honest you will get your application through with zero hurdles, you no need worry.

again for the dreamer who thinks Canada, USA, and Europe is dream heaven where you will get everything free, you are biggest losers in life.
land for people who ready to work hard and want a simple peaceful life.

I am from India, I have the dual bachelors degree, MaSc from the University of Toronto in aerospace engineering,
despite having multiple degrees if you think I will get million dollars a year, you are wrong!!!!!!

so keep your expectations normal spend time with your loved one like mom, dad, brothers and enjoy time with them.
mom and dad are once in a lifetime.

sit back and relax, immigration is not just express entry alone......
Spot on , I'm already overwhelmed after researching and reading stuff about settling down in different provinces, Taxes are sky high, Housing crisis are the highlight of every other province with poor job prospects. It's just demotivating.

no buddy you come here,
you will build your profile, you will get trained here,
you will make your way, I took 6 months to find a job, just need to be patient, you will get through, you will get all the help you need.

so relax, keep some saving to support you, to buy a car, and manage your expenses, plan for this you will have a good life where you will enjoy a beautiful life.

people value trust and integrity more than a person with high intellect, you come here and build your network you will be through.
you must hard working person, anyone who are willing to work life will be easy.

leave the tension behind and enjoy with your family and home country as I said, once you move here you can't visit them regularly, may once in 3 years

Yeah hopefully, I was researching about Vancouver today and tbh I couldn't find even a handful good reviews about this city anywhere on the internet, everyone there seem barely surviving.

vancouver I don't recommend unless you are in a restaurant or cooking or medical business.

try Montreal or NB

I don't know french so Montreal wont work in my case and I guess isn't it right that we can't land in Montreal if we applied through express entry ?

I am in the same boat. My AOR is 7th July and I'm still waiting. I also have visited more than 6 other countries including US.
I think that it depends on your travel history. The more countries you have visited, the more time it takes for them to process your case. I am suspecting this because my friends who applied after 2 months than me and have a really short travel history got their PPR last week.

Anyone else here thinks that processing times depends on travel history? It's just my theory so don't attack me ;)

Great Pointers.
NO country is dream heaven. You will have to work hard to fuel your daily life. Nevertheless, Peace and Justice is the highlight of the developed countries.

Believe me or not. Even after getting good education and experience I am unable to find a decent job in Pakistan and it has been 1 year of painful unemployment. Life is comfortable nowhere.

But won't it effect the Citizenship process later on if for instance we never stayed outside of Montreal throughout our residency?
No I don't think it does. As a Canadian PR you can live in any province or territory.
