Hello Everyone, Just wanted to congratulate all who have received PPR or DM!! I can't imagine how you all are feeling. Hope I can hear good news too. I still have not received any update on my GCKEY OR ECAS (JULY 20 Applicant). Everything is still the same since NOV 2017. Even after submitting my USE OF REP form, and getting a reply from WARSAW visa office that they received it. It still says " We need additional document..." Don't know why , but they are so slow in updating. Let's see what my GCMS notes say. Will arrive by the end of this month. All the best everyone!

1)We received your application on 7th July 2017
2)We started processing your application on 15th November 2017
3)Medical results have been received
4)We sent you a correspondence on sept 1st 2017.If you’ve not yet provided with the information asked, please do it soon.

Although the correspondence asked for Schedule A and PCC and I’ve sent that in the asked time.
Please help me about some info regarding my application.What should I expect next? My VO is New Delhi.Thank you.

Would a two week vacation leaving the country have a big effect on the process?
It seems like the country has you hostage in the time your application is being processed?

I m with LVO and july 18th, 2017 applicant. File moved to LVO since last 4 months. No word from LVO. They are so slow to process the application.
So far LVO processing 2016 and Jan to May 2017 applicants.

I mean, not really. It's not your right to become a PR in Canada. That is not at all to sound snarky, but extended trips are something you can't do on an inland application - it's just one of the temporary limitations of that application stream. If you feel like you're being held hostage, apply outland. There are pros and cons to each stream and it's really about what is the best fit for you and your partner.

I can't really tell you about the 2 week vacation because ultimately, it's up to the officers you meet on your way back in. Generally people will say short trips of a couple of weeks are fine.

What does this mean?

It means they haven't started any progress yet on the background check. Mine went from: "Not applicable" to: "...We will send you a message when we start your background check" and the next update after that will be "We started processing your background check."
