You need to become the representative as you are the sponsor - They cannot give out information to the sponsor because the application is in the APPLICANT's name. The sponsor has to be authorized as a rep.
It's kind of like if I have a bill in my name, the company won't give any information to my partner unless his name is also on the bill. Does that make sense?
You must be authorized as the representative to be able to get information about the application
Also, I'm almost certain you do not need to inform CIC of pregnancy, only childbirth.
Thank you for your quick response! And yes it makes sense which you explained.
I want to request them to expedite the process if possible in any way due to my current situation. The PA will only get OHIP after 3 months of landing and without OHIP its very expensive for child birth plus the PA won't be able to fly after a certain time.
Just trying to try all the options I have (if they are kind enough to expedite the process)
