July 2017 Citizenship applicants

Please ask Mississauga Office to wake up and see how other offices are doing.
Whats wrong with them?

Hi, per my timeline, my application has been in-process since August 30th. I applied in July. However, I just noticed today that there's an entry for $225 credit from 23rd September in my credit card statement for Citizenship and Immigration ON. We are a family of 3 and I paid $1585 for three of us (one minor) including the certificate fee. Why would they refund $225? Per my calculation, $225 could be for citizen certificate ($75 each for three people = $225) but not sure why they would credit it back? Can somebody please clarify?

Citizenship certificate is for those people who are already citizens. Citizenship certificate is issued instead of citizenship card now. It is a proof of citizenship. Citizenship applicants do not apply and pay for this certificate. Once you get citizenship then you may apply for citizenship certificate if needed.

Adult citizenship processing fee $530
Right of citizenship fee $100
Minor citizenship processing fee $100

So total per adult
530+100= $630 X 2
=$1260
(+) $100 for minor
=$1360

So $1585 - $1360= $225

Yes, line 5 is for oath invite.. Catharines also from Niagara Falls office confirmed it yesterday.

My online status updated today with test date on October 20, 2017.

Added a new line as below when I checked today morning.
" We sent you a notice on October 3, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."
