Hey, I just realized I didn't write my name on the back of my photos, everything else's is there, date and place where I took them, but I completely ignored that I had to write my name on the back. How big of a deal you think that is, has anyone else you know had this happen before?

Someone wrote here they forgot to name pictures and they forgot to write not applicable in some lines of the form too. Their application went in process OK. Probably no reason to lose sleep over this.

This solely depends on the officer..... there is no standard, unfourtunarely!!!! I knew a returned case in PR renewal because of N/A which is stupid. In citizenship, N/A doesnt cause a return case however, as far I'm confident!!!

Agree. Someone here also said they called CIC and the agent said to mark "N/A" in the question about language proof (where it says if you authorize CIC to have your LINC test record or whatever it is called), although the application guide clearly says to ONLY fill this section if it applies to you (with "only" being in capital letters). So there are as many opinions as officers, all we can say.

Regarding pictures I beleive this is required mainly if you apply as family since without name and DOB they wont know who is who.

But where in application form it states that you have to do all this work. i.e. write name/DOB on back of picture.

It says it on photo specifications page. Not DOB, just date of photo.

This can be a pretty big deal. I have read about applications being returned due to this. However I have also read about there being no issues due to this. So i guess if the officer looking at your application is fine with it, no problems!

I have a question regarding proof of language: can I send a copy of the IELTS test that I took for my PR application? I know they are valid only for 2 years and it has been 4 years now.

Sorry for posting the question in a rush, I got my answer from cic website:
"In some cases, you may send test results that you already sent to us or the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI). We’ll accept the test results that you sent with your application for:

• Federal Skilled Worker
• Canadian Experience Class
• Quebec-selected Skilled Worker"
