Yes, they will need to verify the passports and the landing documents for the kids too...

Related to test/interview.. from what I understood kids don't get any invitation to attend, so my question is once myself and my wife receive letters inviting us to attend the test/interview with a list of documents to bring, will it mention anything about our kids ? I mean do we need to bring the same documents they requested from us for our kids too for verification ?

On Wednesday 26 October, my status changed to DECISION MADE, and an invitation for oath has been issued the same day.
My oath is schedule for 16th November 9:00AM.

Hard to keep patience when applicants are being treated differently for same process with no apparent reason

I totally agree with you...

I applied for PR in Sep 04 and I got approved in Nov 11
I waited 7 years for my PR while others waited merely 2 years...

Congratulations on DM made and oath invite.

Hard to keep patience when applicants are being treated differently for same process with no apparent reason

Also, I had never gone out of Canada in the last 4 years, except a single (same-day-return) driving trip to USA.

Rigly it is a matter of time, I understand it is hard and anxious, but it WILL come

I have been in Canada for 15 years now and only took one vacation each year 2013-2016, except 2015 where I took two.

I know I am repeating myself but it not just me, there seems to be a few more here where the DM has been a while ago and no oath scheduling. And the most frustrating part is when you see applicants from the same processing office pull ahead although their DM was way later..... That is what I just can't wrap my head around.

But anyway, I am happy for everyone that is approaching the end of the journey and will be taking the oath soon

Yes that was under the old rules and procedures. Now it is so much faster, well at least for the majority. I could understand if there were some outstanding clearances or no DM as of yet. But that is not the case so hence there should be no reason for this. Actually it should go in order of date of DM and not like it seems at will.... just my rant again
