Good Morning guys,

I have a question regarding address change. When i got my AOR via email, ECAS had my mailing address as my former US address at the time I applied for PR. However the AOR email showed my current canadian address. So what I did I updated the mailing address through Ecas as well to make sure they don't send any correspondence to my former US address.
Now when I open Ecas it only shows my home address as my Canadian address, but the mailing address is blank. Did I do something wrong?

PS: My application had my canadian address which hasn't changed since I got to Canada.

I experienced the same, eCAS was showing my overseas address as my mailing address and Canadian as my home address, 4 days after correcting, my overseas address disappeared so I was unsure what exactly that meant but since I have received my test invite in mail at my Canadian address so I guess once you register both your home and mailing as same, it only appear as one address in eCAS.

Thank You so much for replying to my inquiry. I ended up calling CIC today to make sure they don't send any test invite in the US since I no longer live there. They confirmed that my Canadian address is the only one they now have for mailing purpose which also explains why Ecas shows only one address- to validate your answer

Good luck on your test, I am still awaiting test invite, hopefully I get it soon.

Hello Guys, One friend of mine got test invitation which is on Sept 29. She is doubtful if she brings her son (Minor.. turning 14 in Nov) on test day with her? or it doesn't matter? Only she has to appear in test and she applied for both. Does officer want everyone's presence on test day?

We went for our test today in Calgary. The test was a lot easier than what we expected and we both got 20/20 ;D The test was at 8am and we walked out of the building everything done at 8:30am. Now we wait for the Oath ceremony. Almost Canadian!

Most test locations will not even allow the minor (below 14 years) to enter the building for test. No need to bring the kid and just have the originals of the kids (COPR, passport etc.) just in case they ask for any clarifications. Follow what is there in the test invite.

Hi all,
I'm from the August group but I'm just wondering, for those who've received test invites, did they come by email or Canada Post? So excited and anxious for the next step. How long between in process and test invite for most of you?
Thanks!

Hi,

We are a family of 5 from Calgary. Ours went into process Aug 2. Aug 10 we received a letter that only my husband had to go for fingerprints and he did that on Aug 16. Aug 24 we received our letters in the post to write the test September 8. We hope that the process will keep momentum and receive the letter for Oath quickly too.

Hello Pippi,
my test date is set 9/30/2016. It appeared in eCAS this morning (no email or Canada post version thus far). In my case it took 21 from in process to test invite; and 42 days from in process to test date.
Good luck to you!

Hi Friends,

I am applying under the 1460 day rule. I have 4 entries outside the country totaling 110 days of travel to usa and other country.

How many days of buffer is recommended to be on the safe side to avoid an RQ before submitting the application ?

I am submitting my application alone and not with the family.

Please reply to guide me in the right direction......

I immigrated over here under family class immigration (spouse sponsorship), I have 2 years conditional permanent residency. 2 years condition of permanent residency will remove after 2 years from now. My question is ... 1460 days to meet, eligible to apply for citizenship will count from now or after 2 years from now ? Please kindly answer
