My question is ,If someone can please elaborate the flagpoling/border crossing from personal experience.Stuff like what to prepare for ,what to expect and how long does it take anything(i mean any little information) would be appreciated

as far as I know, you just need to take with you your passports and CoPR. It depends on how busy that border office is, but usually I have heard is between 10 to 30 minutes

yeah, I think you dont need us visa as you are not pretending to enter into usa. You even tell the officer ''I dont want to enter, just flag pole''. But I am not sure

I have no idea how to do that so i search i the web.
Im in north alberta...and i found in the parliament webpage how to find my local mp.

I hope its the one.
My question is...
What do u guys tell him or how u ask for his/her help?
What do u tell mp in order he/she can get info from my file in cic?

Pleaseeeee i know many of u tried this.

The office will just ask exact details of your timeline and situation and what reason you have in getting them involved. I spoke to my local office and they contacted CIC directly with formal letter and got a response next day. The response was clarifying that everything was valid, the quote time extended to 16 months from 15 months, and that a final decision was waiting to be mad. Nothing much more than I knew already. It will only help more I think if you surpass the quote time, then the MP office will put pressure on CIC to make that final decision.

its about 45 mins from the point you enter US border and tell the officer there that your here to Flag pole (dont have to explain that you dont want to enter US etc etc).

My return tracker has just been activated!!! Item processed today at 6pm Ottawa time.

My friend who went to border recently, they asked him if he brought all of visa and work permit he received (Study permit, Work permit, etc) while he was in Canada. He only brought current work permit, they anyways gave him a PR confirmation. However, he said border officer said he suppose to bring all of them.

Same as Mine. 6pm ottawa item processed. Smiley hopefully we receive on Monday or Tuesday.
