Hi Guys,

My background check change to "In Progress" on 04 Aug, got email confirmation on next day and after that no update.
My Review of eligibility is still in "Review in Progress".
Whose background check changed in progress can check and confirm their eligibility as well.

are you inland? I dont have much idea, but if that means they are working on security, where you are from, where you have lived or gone for vacation/work, might affect the time it takes to clear you.

Yes, i m inland.. I went for vacation back home for 3 weeks in April.. I am working here and currently in Canada..

October 28 2015- Recieved AOR
March 2016 - RPRF fees requested
May 10 2016 - Medical recieved by IRCC
PPR - waiting

That email might be because of the update. Same happened to me. I got email next day I saw the change.

July 13th applicant, AOR October 15th and medicals was done sometimes in May of 2016. My background check just changed to "in progress" this morning and that is a positive sign. I just hope it doesn't take another month like many other warriors on this thread
