Oh ok, Probably that's the reason that you received your file number a bit quicker. Anyway, it's really good. You now have something to look forward to.

Hey Andy, i paid my fee upfront and attached the receipt with my application. How did you pay your fee? Haven't u been charged yet?
 
Any update about MR or any new addition to ECAS
 
Delivered my application on Jul.11th, called the angent today said the date they received was Aug.11th ??? not sure the date they were referring to, i am guessing file in the system. BUT sill too slow. some of the Aug applicants got the FN

it is really wierd.. you used regular mail?
 
Got my file number from CIC toady.

the number begin with EP, is that a temp number?

I tried to check the status online today, but the system says there is no record found, should it be like this? or I need to call CIC to check out?

EP is your permanent Number they stop sending XEP from June so don't worry bout it ... you can check your ecas after few days or early as they update every week so probably next week for you Good luck Sukia !!!

Yes, EP is your official file number. Besides, you also get UCI number in your letter. You can use both numbers to login to the system to track your application's status

When you go to login page, you may notice that the status is updated on every Tuesday. Therefore, you might need to wait until next Tuesday to see your file's status
