July 2015 PNP CIC Applicants

Hi Saska.... have you received any update buddy..... what about GCMS notes.... as outland applicant can we apply the same..... what do u think....

No update yet may be tomorrow or day after I see something 8)
About GCMS notes I am not sure as somewhere in the forum I read those are for the inlanders only.
Moreover I don't think we need to apply for those as our applications are still within the processing times of our VOs and your one has already crossed the Medical mark so let's wait n watch for some time.

Its not for inlanders alone. Its for anyone who file immigration application and about their file notes. I am not inside Canada but applied for using one of these sites. Thats why these websites are existing because if we are inland then we dont pay or its max 5$ for self request.

We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is in process.
If further information is needed, the responsible office will contact you.
Nothing told about the file been transferred already or not yet. Again clueless ???

So as I shared my timeline before cic received my application on July 3rd 2015 and they started processing on Sept. 25th 2015. I am still waiting for medical request. Today I got an email contained a PDF letter that start as below:

This refers to your application for Permanent Residence in Canada.

THIS IS A REMINDER EMAIL - PLEASE READ EACH SECTION CAREFULLY TO SEE IF
IT APPLIES TO YOUR APPLICATION.
FOR ANY DOCUMENTATION OR CORRESPONDENCE YOU SEND, PLEASE
INCLUDE A COVER PAGE THAT LISTS YOUR NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, UCI AND APPLICATION NUMBER.

PASSPORTS
Passports for you and all accompanying family members must be valid at the time of visa issuance. If your passports have expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for new passportsassoonaspossible. YoucansendaCopyoftheBiodataPage(pagewithphotographand name) to the following addresses below.
Do not send Original Passports until requested By CIC.

POLICE CERTIFICATES
If you have not already done so, provide Original Police Certificates from each country and territory where you lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18, for you and all family members over 18. If you delay in sending in these police certificates your application will be delayed.

This is reminder that if your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding, you must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.
Delaying the payment of the RPRF will delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to


have any of you guys received such a letter that like this? I sent my police clearance at the first place with my application so i hope they don't want the updated one or anything. Also I thought we should pay RPRF at the final step after medical and everything.

Do i need to submit RCMP police certificate as i already submit the original police certificate with application ?

1) Provide Original Police Certificates via mail at the address below
2) Provide Scanned Copies of Original Police Certificates. Please attach via the Case Specific Enquiry form at the following link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.
Please refer to our website, www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert, for further instruction on how to obtain a police certificate.

Please suggest,

If you have already submitted police certificates than you don't have to submit these again.

at that time i submit a normal original police certificate from back home and Canada and its not RCMP/ also know as finger print.

Quote from CIC website:
For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

Did CIC request you for RCMP based on finger prints?
