You should get help from local MP. Let MP call onbehalf of you, its working for sure if file is really delayed. In your case you should contact as soon as posssible.

Call CIC and check with them. You have passed the 16 months and they have to investigate your file and possibly raise the officers attention

Nothing new from July applicants for 2016 anymore!? I reached 17 months today, and still counting

Hi seniors, do I need to bring recent photos for landing at border? I saw some folks mentioning they had to resubmit photos as required by CIC during the process of PR card. Got a bit confused.

Have you ordered your GCMS in order to check why your application is taking so long? What I have seen is that if an applications takes time to get approved is because IRCC is conducting an exhaustive security check. Have you lived in several countries more than six months?

Yes I got my GCMS notes month ago. It doesn't say WHY the application has taken long tho! GCMS is usually useless, it just gives you a bunch of information that you already know or you can see in MyCIC profile.
And no I haven't lived in several countries. My MP told me that they are still doing security checks! Ive lived in Canada for almost 8 years, and the entire journey for permanent residence application has been beyond ridiculous and frustrating.

I finished landing several days ago at the airport. And the ECAS shows complete and date and location of landing. But for the whole landing process, the officer doesn't mention PR card and doesn't mention where the PR card will mail to. For my immigration case, I have my home address, mailing address (consultant's business address), PPR mailing address (my home address). I don't know where my PR card will mail to. Does anyone have any ideas?
