Everyone has an equal chance. It is a process and it takes time for it to be completed.

The only thing the MP is good for is if you need some clarification from your V0 that you're file has been received . Any thing else useless .

Our MP is useless too.. 3 weeks and still waiting for them to "hear back from CIC" ... I went to the media actually. In the process of talking to the Toronto Star

Hey all. I'm new to this forum. I applied in July 2014 and my application was received on the 28th of July, 2014. However, there has been no status update on the CIC website, except "Application received on 28th July, 2014. Medical results have been received."
I've received a couple of emails from the New Delhi Immigration Office asking for my Police Clearance Certificate first and then another one on 1st May, 2015 asking for photographic evidence of my engagement and wedding ceremonies. I've complied with all their requests and have provided all the necessary documents.
There has been no further email from them and no change in status on the CIC website, either. My medical expires on June 29, 2015. I don't know what I should do after that.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Good luck to all. :)

I applied July 14th 2014, only communication I have had through the whole process so far has been sponsor approval! Thinks it's just how it works, just have to wait :-(

I can't say for sure for that office but since you got DM you can actually call that office and ask them just to make sure your address is the same and such.

Just to let you know our visa was denied March 22,2016 after waiting 1year and 8 months Application in Havana Jan 4,2015 Interview Jan 6,2016.

26 months waiting still no visa. :(

remember to take in to consideration that a passport is required to leave and enter Canada and therefore Border Services has a record of travel and this is checked so you are taking a chance of getting caught.

Did you order your notes? Do you know if something specific is holding up your application? This sucks..

Hello,

I'm having a problem to prove my husband as sponsor's intent to reside in Canada when my PR is approved.

My husband is a naturalized Canadian in 2004, and has been living in the US since 2007 for schooling and working till now. He returned to Canada shortly for 3 months in 2012 then came back to the US with me because we couldn't separate. We submitted the PR application for me in June. Visa office filed on July 7, 2014. Sponsor eligibility was approved late August. We really plan to settle down in Canada from August 2016 when I graduate (I'm in PhD program right now and can't leave the school, I have to work on campus). In January, 2015, I received a request from the Ottawa office to prove my husband's intent to reside in Canada when I get the PR. I described our plan that we would move to Canada immediately after I graduate in August next year.

Recently, I received another message from Ottawa office. They were not satisfied with my response back in January. They re-emphasized on a proof of my husband's intent to reside in Canada when I become PR. And, they said, the plan he would come in August 2016, goes well beyond the time my application was finalized (it was meant either good or bad).

My questions:
1. Is it very likely that my application will be denied?
2. If my application denied, will this denial negatively affect my next time application?
3. Is there anything that I can do right now?
4. Was it a mistake to apply last July 2014 when we plan to settle down in Canada in August 2016? I often see delays.
5. Any thoughts appreciated!

I'm so tired of life paperwork.
Thank you very much!

Can you share what did you ended up responding for intent to move to Canada and did it got accepted ?

My current situation :
Wife - Canadian citizen stayed out of Canada for most of life
Husband - Indian citizen
We both are currently in US. Wife is not working and husband is on H1B and employed.
