mrs.Cam, I know how you feel. I don't think ecas is a good indicator of what is really going on with our application. Unfortunately, it is the only window we have to at least make some sense of where we are in the sponsorship journey. I hope you get your visa soon, without a doubt you will it's just a matter of time. It's been long time but today is a lot closer than yesterday.

Thank you for sharing this!... They didn't want to see your belongings to follow or anything? I still have things in NYC that I will have to bring back later on. Do you still have things back in the USA?

BTW - I don't know if this helps you but I already have an Ontario Drivers license even though I am still waiting for DM. I just went and handed my NY License in and they gave me an Ontario License. It helps to have ID here. You should be able to get that no problem while you wait to be in the system! ... so excited for you and so happy to see progress!.. Congrats on landing!!!!

As for my goods to follow and such, all of my stuff is here in Canada. I had it shipped to a friends relative's place and she brought it up for me ages ago. The IO asked me if I had my stuff in Canada already, and I told her the truth. She chuckled and said "alright you're done then" and sent me on my way!
Everyone there was pretty awesome!
EDIT: I knew about the Drivers license, sadly I don't drive. Neither my husband (my sponsor) or I do. Hence why my good friend had to drive us!

Lalo na pag nakikita ko na may mga sept oct nov applicants na Dm n na agad agad..pero yung sa July ang tagal talaga..ready na ang visa but they still hold the passport for a long time.. im sorry nageemo na naman ako hehe di ko mapigilan.. Ang tagal na kasi nating naghihintay.. Yup tama ka, hindi accurate si ecas.. si Lord na lang ang bahala kung kailan tlga.. :'(

I left the fb group na din after ng ppr ko kasi feeling ko lalo ako naiinip everytime nagchecheck ako mg updates sa group hehe! Sana nga sis hay.. I think hindi na matagal yan kasi parang ang standard na balik ng pp is 1 month after ppr,cgro by 1st or 2nd week voh ka na.
