Did they send you a letter with the form back? If they did just include the letter with the form. The letter should have a file number on it so they will know it's for your application. In terms of waiting, they will most likely now take your application as complete when they receive it. If you send it back in September, it would be as if you submitted a complete application in September. Some people were lucky to have their file reviewed shortly after the 45 day deadline that is given in the letter. A few of us that were in May, ours were delayed and they took the new date of when we sent our documents as the received date. So I guess it really depends on the officer who has your file. If it is one of the forms that require her original signature you may want to look into having it couriered over.
She could download the form herself and sign it and send it to you.

The date you receive your SA ,On that communication is the statement of where your application is being sent abroad. I just used my SA approval date as my Transfer date because everything is done at the 1st stage at that point.

There are two steps in processing family sponsorship applications. In order to know the total approximate time it may take for your application to be processed,
ADD the time in step 1 to the time in step 2 (the two steps are consecutive)

It simply states in order to take a guess at the completion of the entire process one needs to add the expected days of stage 1 and stage 2 together.

However you can not rely on this as some applications take longer then others and still others are processed much quicker then the average. There are many steps that CIC goes through to accept our applications through the two stages.

I agree with what Christoph said. I don't think you should be scanning the form for a signature. Courier the form. You don't want your application to be further delayed. Trust me I know what it's like. I've experienced the delay first hand. It took almost 3 mths until I got a sponsor approval.

I was one of the unlucky ones that CIC requested the updated 1344 form and i received an email today that states my application is now complete and I will be waiting for 48 days for any updates so when you get a request for a new form your application goes back to day 1. Very disappointing as I sent my application July 11th.

That's disappointing! Interesting enough is that another person from the August cohort said they had to resubmit a new form but they recently got their SA.
