CIC will not notify you when it's been received. also, recent applicants have noted that CIC does not send AORs (acknowledgement of receipt) anymore. It appears the first communication from CIC will be the sponsorship approval, so you are in for some wait.

When did they stop sending out AORs? I guess most applications are sent in by couriers with tracking/signatures so AORs seem redundant. It would be interesting to know if people who sent in their applications via regular mail get AORs.

CiC M has received our package on July 28. The wait is not going to be fun. Been there, done that...didn't like. But hopefully it will pay off. Good luck to everyone who are in the same boat.

May and June applicants are reporting not receiving AOR and only getting SA. This has also been confirmed by some applicants by what the CIC call center has told them. It seems to be a new thing, and it has no relation as to how the package was delivered.

Hey everyone!
I noticed there was no thread started about July 2014 Outland applications!

WELL! We are mailing ours tomorrow morning!
We have spent since March sitting down at least once a week for a few hours working on forms and making sure we have everything set up!
We are sooo excited!

I think we have little bit of a wait yet before anything is heard they are only starting to work on june 2014 apps now for first stage, and im sure some from may are still waiting too.

Thanks for setting up the spreadsheet for us. I took advice from this forum not to do my medical before the I sent the application - apparently they will now request the medical. I hope this was the right thing to do. It also means that the expiration of the medical does not become a concern because I plan to land in July 2015.
