What's your local office? Do you know when your file was transferred?

Thanks,

Great news, Scientist. A whole month to go, eh? Have you been tracking the average length of time between test date and oath letter for you supplicants in Vancouver?

Aaaand ... more news: my eCAS now shows In Process! It still showed Received last night :-*

Could I please ask GTA applicants to remind me how long it took between In Process and test date?

Here is my timeline update:

Received: July/10/ 2014
AOR e-mail sent: Sept/25/2014

I wonder if we are getting the Test Invite by snail mail or e-mail?

Hello July applicants!

I am in here as well. I called the call centre agent about my application status today, but she told me that there was nothing updated from what I could see on the e-CAS :( She even told me that they normally did not check the application status by phone unless applicants checked their status online. The wait time is 24-36 months which is normal and there's nothing to worry about. Finally, she did tried to access her data system and she could not give me any updates apart from "IN PROCESS". The wait time is killing me and I hope I will be called for the test soon.

Btw, my PR card is about to expire in Feb 2016. Do you think I should wait for a citizenship status first or renew PR card in 6 months from now? I heard that PR card should be renewed within 6 months before it is expired. Any advice?

What if I have to travel somewhere for a month or less than a month while waiting for a citizen process to be done, do you think this may be a problem when entering to Canada again? (Not sure if the immigration officers could check immigrant's files through their systems and if these people are applying/waiting for their citizenship).

Thank you.

Yes, if you have not received a test invite or to take the oath within the next six months then you should renew your PR Card.

I wouldn't worry if i were you. CIC told me eCAS is not real time so they might just not have updated it.
You are a week after me so your status should change in a week or so as well!

CIC told me the confirmation of test will be in mail for sure.
