Just noticed something, Scarborough only has January 9, 2015 updated on their website so far for a Citizenship ceremony.
hmmm ::) Do I smell same and next day ceremonies for Scarborough January the 8th and 9th test takers?

P.S. Kitchener, Windsor, Hamilton, Kingston have dates spread through out January.
Hamilton and Windsor have ceremonies as early as December 30, 2014
With Mississauga doing ceremonies every day in January back into February

lets hope they update some more dates for Scarborough soon, This way the folks being called in for tests can complete their journey in a timely manner.

Hello and happy holidays !!

I just wanted to update you on my test & interview experience

Test was really easy .. you need to read the book twice and try to solve online questions ...ppl who don't speak English will fail only ... finished in 5 mins .

after that was interviewed by a nice officer ... she asked me wt I do and I replied ...after that she asked for my passport which was full of stamps from all over the world .

She said that she cant read all stamps and I have to be transferred to 2nd level ... I panicked and told her that I have the translation with me , borders report and that I can take her through all stamps one by one .

she said that she has to... My file was then handed to another nice officer who mentioned that I've been away for so long .. I explained that I landed but didn't live in 2009 then I came to live in 2011 and that I had only 3 absences at that time .

she then had a look at my passport and residency calculator ... she didnt as about anything else ... she said that I will receive oath letter from 3 to 4 weeks .

I asked her about handing oath letters at the spot and she said that they are not doing that anymore ...
l officers were nice and I noticed that they dont spend more than 10 mins which each applicant

Dont worry about it and take it easy ... the most important thing is to be confident wn u talk to them .

I also had several work permits in the Middle East and gulf ... Surprisingly they didn't ask me about a sing one .

Finally I'm done with the whole exam/interview thing .. I will keep u posted once I get my oath letter ....

Hi,thought this will be significant on this thread. I have a friend who passed application on July this year. Took her test at the end of October. Fast processing indeed. Still waiting for the Oath since. Local office is Vancouver.

No test letters yet for July applicants?

Does anyone know average time it takes to hear on test invite once you see "In Process"??

as I recall, it still thern needs to be sent to Local Office with checks initiated etc. and only then is a test invite issued ....

They will contact you means that they will probably just send you a letter or e-mail asking you to take the test. I don't think they will call your phone. You can study on-line or request for a book to be sent to your address.
