Guys do you think there is any hope to get test invites before the end of the year?

Some June applicants already got their tests ..

I sent my application July 29 & received Aug 1. I got really worried reading your posts last night and contacted my lawyer and he said he did not receive any thing so I called CIC today and they said they sent him an acknowldgment email on Aug/28th with a link to the book. but they did not process it yet. so I sent the Idiot an email saying that he needs to check his email as they told me the do not mail letters any more, his response was I did not get any thing and please do not contact CIC any more. I want to fire his sorry ----- but I cannot I have already paid him.

Why would you even use a lawyer and waste your money for such a straight forward process?

It is a mistake to hire a lawyer for a straight forward process .. actually hiring a lawyer will just make things more annoying and complicated .. it is better to deal with CIC directly.

I know but I travel a lot so I need some one to receive my papers while I`m gone.

I am hoping we hear something for next month. Invites should start as of next week, according to the patterns here. Still nothing on my side.

And then there those who received an EMAIL AOR from somewhere around June increasing with applications submitted July and later.

They seem to be on some pilot though CIC says its just more and more people moving to Email AOR and initially having a mix of regular and email AOR cases. Is it shift to the one-step process where the CO decides and the CJ's role is out.

The Email AORs definitely have no e-CAS yet.

Does anyone have any other insights on those who received Email AOR and have application number beginning C00000xxxx ?

In your local CIC office yes, it would be possible. But I'm not expecting anything from my office for the next 2 years

I hope so .. Why did u pick Winnipeg for immigration .. it is rare to see people picking Winnipeg as FSW ... I hope you like it there

Acknowledgment of Receipt -- the official CIC letter that confirms receipt of your application and normally comes accompanied by the Discover Canada guide.

for early birds July Applicant I would say could be March !

hopefully sooner. I don't know.
