Thank you

They MAY not send out a letter AOR or a study guide book if you have provided an email address, in which case you will receive an email AOR.
You can still order a book for free or print out your guide by yourself.

Just called cic, confirmed that application has been assigned to an officer and is "in-process"..

Hi there,

Did you ask if it's transferred to local office in Montreal or not?
Do they mean assigned for officer in Sydney or Local office Montreal??

Thanks,

Thanks for your answer.
Did the "received" line disappeared on eCAS yet?

As pointed out before by other members, those who received email AOR (normally their application no. is C00XXXXXXX), including myself, don't have access to eCas yet.

Hi guys

I called cic. my file was transferred to local office on 14th oct.
What does it mean? When should I expect test invite?

Honstly, I don't know what to do. I sent them the tracking number and I forgot to say it was sent by Canada post :-[. I am so busy now with my exams and I am not sure that I have time or peace of mind for it now. Also, I didn't visit my family back home for more than 4 years now. I was planning to visit them in January (I must) so I was hoping to at least take the test before then. I hope they find it. I used the same address in the application form.

Hey there, Did you get a response for your case specific inquiry after emailing them the tracking number?

So my application was received on July 25th and I got email AOR and today I called to check on the application and the agent informed me that it's on queue waiting to be processed. I asked if I'll be able to check e-cas since I received an email and not mail, she said that once the processing of the application starts I will be able to see progress on e-cas.

Received line disappeared. As user BLT would suggest, it means three things: (1) Test invitation, (2) Pre-test RQ, (3) Fingerprint request. I'll add a fourth one: the system is coughing...
