hopefully ECAS will start to become active for July applicants soon. End of June applicants are getting their ECAS activated.

guess lots of people rushed in June to avoid B24 and not many applicants in July here.

Even lesser in August. I guess there will be some impact on file processing due to summer vacations.

Hello everybody!

Glad I found this discussion for July applicants!

We both are British guys living in Montréal. Sent our CP packages on 26th. It was received 31st July. So I guess by the time you all are starting to get your E-cas or AOR (is there any difference between these two?), we should get something shortly after you get yours!

Here's hoping for speedy processing! ;D

Can anyone direct me to a webpage or a thread concerning ECAS? With which information do you use in order to check your ECAS before you receive any letter from CIC confirming that the application has been received?

follow the instructions and you may or may not see your application status depending on whether CIC has started processing your app.
it could take up to 3 months in some cases for your application to be traceable online.
