i think it's a good sign... my guess is that the reassessment is generally preferred for outside Canada applicants when the application is towards closure.

there was no deadline mentioned to me in the reassessment email... i just did it in a couple of days. i would suggest the same to you, it may help close your case sooner. all the best.

hi tw i got a medical reassesment for my 2 dependant which are both living in my home coutry but nothing for me is that normal i hope that this is a good sign after waiting for so long. quick question how long did they give you to process your reassesment coz mine is until july 2016 its like 5 mos to do so.thanks

It took 10 working days to receive my passport from Ottawa to Toronto.

Got my PP back from VFS Delhi in 5 days! I have my COPR and visa valid until Jan'17... planning to land in May'16.

hi guys does anyone experience to have their passport request like a month or weeks before their medical expiration?? is it possible? and til what validity they have to stamp on your passport if thats the case? thanks

They may ask for Medical reassessment and will give entry date from the reassessment date (till 2017). Hope for the best

thanks! so that means there's not even a slightest chance to have a passport request without requesting a reassesment of medicals.

hello - i'd applied from India and always had my local (India) address on ecas.... i changed it to another India address sometime last year, which got updated within a few weeks. it has been the same since...

after PPR, i visited VFS to submit my passport and did NOT opt for any courier service... just tracked the status online and phoned them to confirm when it was ready... so i collected it physically.
