Anyone Please??

you cannot tell by the request of documents if uve passed eligibility... its just a process where they require more documents to complete ur case.. ppl who have gotten medical request also get refused as the senior officer does a final review on the case after medical so its really unpredictable. can only find out if you get notes..

Hi Everyone,

Please can any one of those who had the PPR tells me how long it took CIC to return your passports since they were received in Ottawa?

Thanks

You can find it on some of our timelines under our profile name. In my case, it was like 2 weeks.

Nope...Its just that you are changing the Visa Office to get the passport stamped with the Visa...PPR is the final stage and there are no more reviews after that...

So, I have emailed CIC about VO change and I have received a response in a week which is very generic like if you or out of Canada submit at nearest VFS. I hope that's how you received VO change email and my wife will be submitting her passport at VFS, Hyderabad, India. And I sent my passport to Ottawa. Hoping for smooth stamping

Apparently, my card had been sitting in my mail box since I-don't-know-when. Yay to me!

It has been a very long journey and I want to thank you all for all the supports and the fun time. I might return to this forum using a different user in the future. For now, it is time for me to fly away. Hoping everyone else will have their processes speeded up.

Hi All,

I'm an August 1st applicant and did my medicals in April 2015. Paid RPRF upfront in July 2015.
Haven't heard back from CIC since then. Are there many people who are in the same boat? What action are you guys taking? Is it worth it to go through a lawyer at this point? (I had filed my application myself without a representative).

Thanks.

We applied in August 1, meds request received in April 2015 and RPRF request received yesterday.

Yes, the status had updated to Medicals Received within 2 weeks of my medical exam.
I did order GCMS notes a couple of months ago. How do I check for any clues to the reason/update within the GCMS notes?
Please advise.

Thank you! :)

Hi guys,

I am a July applicant and I got my passports stamped today. Thank you forum for the help and guidance.

I have been given only 3 months time (May 2016) to land in Canada. Generally it will be one year from the medical request sent and it is supposed to be till Aug 2016, as my medicals done in Aug 2015.

Any one is in the same situation?

Regards,

GCMS couple of months ago would hardly give u any clue as for most of us it was blank. They started working on our files since November. But otherwise check ur eligibility area notes for if there is any remark about ur job responsibilities etc. if nothing there just wait for your turn as they are slowly clearing there backlog. You have already paid the RPRF so u should not expect any communication until your file is through for PPR or they need any information/docs from you. you should get some good news soon... Be positive !!!
