July - 2014 Applications

Hi guys I am July 24th applicant.
Finally, I received Medical Request Today through my immigration consultant.
I have two questions.

1. Does receiving medical request mean that my eligibility is passes?

2. Does upfront RPRF make my process faster? Do U recommend me to do upfront RPRF?

Hi I am a july 31st application. I rang them last week and she said people are starting to get decision made around 18 months from application received. I know of two june 9 applicants the last few days got decision made. I think for july applicants it's going to be January - March to process them. The good news she did give me regarding the medical was your eligibility is passed once you get a medical request and also they wouldn't be processing it if you didn't get the request. I got called for medical in April so I guess it's just a waiting game now... best of luck.

She basically meant that you got your medical request your eligibility is passed so stop worryin. ... we are processing it.

Nothing at my end buddy but the very recent updates in Jun and Jul are heartening.

Maybe Jan is the month for Jul applicants.....

Yes.. New Delhi.. It's going to be Ottawa though until it reaches PPR stage.. guess it is same for everyone outside of Canada. Good luck.

Sir don't worry much.. I was an April applicant just few weeks back I was on same boat.. Nov end I got RPRF and dec starting I got PPR.. Before it was only AOR.. Long silence.. But things moved so fast in one moth that now I am waiting for my passport to be back with visa.. So hang in there..
