Thanks. Normally how many days it will take to get COPR once approved for visa exempt country? I am in implied status, need to get OHIP coverage soon.

I applied for 2nd Bridging Open Work Permit on Nov 1st. Since now my PR application has been Approved and Decision Made, is it a good time to cancel the BOWP now? OR Safer to wait until get the COPR in hand?

When is the appropriate time to cancel the BOWP? Appreciate some advise... Thanks

I would wait until I get COPR in my hand. As per decision made ecas status, we have no idea when will they request for pp and send it back with visa stamped and copr (unless u are from a visa exempt country)

I just called CIC at 9:30am EST..

And they said they are still processing up until now. Then I asked if they received my medical which I sent on August, and they said no, they did not see any medical results yet.

Hello everyone!

I just completed my landing today at YYZ

Experience

Process was as straight forward as possible for me, but I noticed some delays for some people.
However, the airport seems quite empty for immigrants though. I counted 10 people only
They didn't ask me any question about Goods to follow or anything like that.
They asked for proof of funds, didn't ask for bank statement.
The custom officer was extremely nice, and very friendly.
Asked about my kind of music, we even talked about albums and all.
I got my SIN number at the Airport
I went through customs with only one item to declare.
Now I wanna nap and job hunt/house hunt tmrw. I am tired AF.

I have been away from the country and came back to Toronto to land.
