What is your timeline man. Also, I don't think you need to send your child's passport. That is going to be a Canadian passport, why would you send it for visa stamping.

I talked to CIC and they told me the same thing that i don't have to send passport of my child(dependent) as she is already a canadian citizen. My timeline is :

Application received : 24 July 2014
Aor : 1st October, 2014
Medical request : 1st April,2015
Medical sent: 18th April
Medical received : 24th April
Rprf request : 19th June
Rprf paid: 19th June
Passport request :23rd June
Passport sent: 24th June
Decision made appeared today, 25th June

I wish all the very best to our friends waiting for PR.

Hi everyone I did my landing today I flagpoled at peace bridge / fort Erie. American side probably took about an hour in total to line up then go into office to flagpole. Canadian side about 10 minutes in total. Delighted to have it all done so quickly that I even managed to get back to Toronto to get my new Sin card and bank account on the same day!

Good luck everyone.

I was wondering whether one needs to open a new bank account or just updating the bank with your status as PR is enough.

Hi
I just received COPR in mail :)
thank u all.

Hi guys,

I have a question, so apparently when I landed as a PR, the officer took my current work permit and but I have my conformation of PR with me.

I was planning to go out of Canada by air for couplease days and I was wondering, when I get back to canada, is my current visa and my confirmation of PR will be able to make me enter canada ?

Because usually the border officer at the airport look for a work permit but it has been taken away from me.

Thanks in advanced.
