Hello All,

My ECAS status changed to "Decision Made" today. I had already received PPR on April 30 and sent the Passports yesterday.

Also there was an error in my name on ECAS and CIC's communication emails which I got corrected by dropping a couple of emails along with a copy of my passports. They finally corrected it on ECAS along with the Decision Made update.

Just hang on there, you all will receive your PPRs soon. All the best!

My Ecas status also shows decision made.Right now I am in india and planning to return to Canada on 15th may but still email say that you have 30 days to send passport. So will send after reaching there.

I hope the RPRFs and PPR's start raining on others including me ... I thought to refrain from this forum for 15-20 days... but couldn't control my urge to open up and check for the latest developments...

Hey Clark

I checked your gcms notes. What suporting documents did you provided to cec except reccomendation letter t4 and noa. I did applied to cec on noc 2174, im still waiting for my medicals

Hey Trent,

I provided pretty much everything that was mentioned in the checklist:-

a. PCC
b. Employment Letter.
c. NOA

NOA was the last document I provided. I never received any emails from CIC requesting for any documents but thought to be proactive and send everything at the earliest. Not sure how far things have gone in my favour.

Btw what are your timelines?

I did get MR Request on March 9th. However I paid my RPRF Upfront on April 13th. Should have paid it along with MR Request.

Did you request GCMS notes? If so what does it say?

I did get MR Request on March 9th. However I paid my RPRF Upfront on April 13th. Should have paid it along with MR Request.

do you advice I should just do my medical regardless ? or wait or their request
and do I pay my RPRF as well upfront?

Did you request GCMS notes? If so what does it say?

I would suggest you to wait for MR Request. Once you get MR Request you can pay your upfront RPRF. then again if you don't see any major issues or concerns in your GCMS you can also save some time doing upfront MR.

no I did not request GCMS yet! from what I have read in this from the notes doesn't have much information, I mean in my case it wont give me details since cic didn't even start processing my file (e-case online states showing on 1 line saying they receive my application in July 28, 2014)

I will wait as you suggested and will see how long it takes.. Just been sorry worried the whole time and couldn't even travel in case they request any information while i'm gone

My suggestion would be to request for GCMS notes. You never know when the VO will start looking at your file and besides if you apply now the set of GCMS notes will only arrive 30 days later.
The GCMS notes should give you some idea if your file has been touched at all and also if there are any points that needs to be addressed in your application package so no harm in requesting for it.
