Hi Guys

To get a Bridge Work Permit or while receiving PR, how many months should I have minimum left on my passport before it expires.
How much time does it take to get PR after medicals normally.

I have received MR but my wife couldnt do XRay because she is pregnant now. We have to defer it to until after delivery in June. My visa is expiring in November 2015 but my passport is expiring too in January 2016.. Is it advisable to apply for new passport right away or does the expiry date on my passport matters for getting PR or bridge permit

Hi Vivmehta,

My application was received on 09th July, AOR received on 8th sep 2014. There has not been any update since then. NOC: 2147.

note that am not in the SS. I have been keeping an eye here for last couple of weeks as suggested by one of my friends.

Dear All,

I got AOR on 25th Sep 2014 under CEC. I have not received MR till date and the status is still 'In process'. I had applied from India and currently in India.
I have seen some of the guys received MR for the AOR they got in Oct 2014. Are you guys applied from Canada?

Please let me know if there is any process time difference for the guys who have applied from outside Canada and from Canada?

No I moved to Sept as my application returned and submitted again on September.

Can you suggest good doctor near GTA , I am planning to go for upfront

You can go to Dr Richard Chan in Toronto.. i went to him and entire process took only 45 mins and was for $190 which is considerably cheap. He takes usually 7 business days to upload the results. I did mine on 14th march and results were uploaded on 24th.. my ECAS now shows medical results received..
