I've got a question about leave of absences and notification of CIC. A relative recently became ill, and I took a temporary (6-mo) leave of absence from my employer in order to be with them. I'm still employed by the organization - I still receive health/dental benefits, though I'm unpaid - and once my leave of absence is over I will be back to full-time, paid status.

Should I notify CIC of this change? Or would this not be considered noteworthy to them?

Here is the extract from AOR regarding updating CIC:

Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc).

Although it does not specifically mentions any leave of absence there is no harm in updating CIC about your current status.

Hi All, When do you think we get Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) request? does they request this along with medical or later once medical is done? And how long does the total processing takes upon medical/RPRF request? appreciate any advise. thanks

I am a July 3'rd applicant. Finally ecas shows that CIC started processing on March 20'th. any clue how long does it take for them to either request MR or refer for second review? Can anyone who received MR comment please? Thanks
