Yes Kiran, But was not sure as they said in the AOR mail don't send any document until requested. I applied for new PCC yesterday shall get in 10 days.

You would need wait to another 20 days almost to get new one. But that's ok new PCC right after you get it. No need to wait until they ask for it for PCC.

App received in early July. If yours was received around 15th of July then you'll have to wait for another week.

Anyone can recommend doctor in Calgary?

Everyone seems to prefer Grunberg as per my friends, but they were giving 17 March (on 5 march) so i went to dr abolarin that is also e medical enabled and very fast, i finished every thing in like 40 min, the xray and lab test included......One of my friend had bad experience with van der merwe, so didnot call him......one of the doc from panel is on vacation and will come back in april start
everyone else was giving a date of last week of march i guess....but you can try as people do cancel their appointments....

I am so confused after reading all these things about medicals. What is the correct procedure? Looks like I need to do blood and urine test somewhere else and then bring them to the doctor? And after seeing the doctor I need to go to some lab and do something?

Are you able to tell us what the clear steps are?

u need appointment from doc, once you have it, go to calgarylabservices website book appointment for urine and blood, select immigration and refugee in there.....ideally hour and half ahead of doc appointment if you get one...

So if I figured it out correctly, Doctor's exam has a dependency on the blood and urine tests, which are required prior to seeing the doctor, and then the x-ray is dependent on Doctor's exam - correct?

Then here's my doubt for verification - for blood & urine tests, are we getting paper results that we need to physically bring to the doctors? And is x-ray results transferred electronically so we don't have to bring that in any more? After all these, will the doctor take care of uploading everything to CIC?

Personally I would give it the rest of day + the next week as the buffering time. I found it strange too as my friend who had her application received on the same day got MR 2 days earlier than me.

there are three parts
1)doc checkup at his clinic
2)need to give samples at lab
3)x ray


you need to go to doc first and he gives does general check up and all paper work to go to lab and x ray center.......you go to lab later and give blood and urine samples and then xrays

you job is over they will co ordinate themselves and you need to wait like me
