MEDICALS REQUEST: My application was received on July 29, 2014 July 31, 2014 and the nearest doctors on panel are in Edmonton, which is 16-18 hours drive from where I live. I'm travelling to Edmonton on March 30 and booked an appointment with a doctor for same day. I don't know if I'll have the Medical Request before then. The doctor is saying that they can't perform tests until it's requested by CIC. Any thoughts or recommendations?

What is latest MR?

I have applied and have been waiting since application.... no update or contact what so ever. Checked junk/spam several times. Emailed LVO and got a standard reply that we will contact you if anything is required.

The latest MR is Jul4-14 applicant (received application package at CIO)

I had the same problem that you have and I wanted to do my upfront medicals in January Break so I called this center and asked them to do an upfront medical for me and they had no problem. They gave me a confirmation in doctors office and I emailed it to CIC and my ECAS status shows "Medical has been received" now even though I have not got any medical requests yet. (My application was received by CIC on Aug 05 so it is not even my turn to get MR yet). Just call these guys and set up your upfront medical appointment!

It took 3.5 - 4 hours for me but it all depends how busy the lab and X-Ray is
