Date requested Jan 29 2015 and date sent is when i sent the application and i don't remember now when i sent the application in July 11 i believe.

I talked to a lawyer and she said to send them an email that you have already sent it with file.

I've received the same request like Neha this morning...and I've submitted the RCMP Police clearance certificate including spouse with my application back in July last year 2014 and RCMP completion date was 15-APR-2014.

Experts,
Please suggest here to either re-do the RCMP or ignore email as they have mentioned in the note stating " IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED THIS DOCUMENT, PLEASE DISREGARD THIS REQUEST. WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITH FURTHER INSTRUCTION ONCE A VISA OFFICER HAS REVIEWED YOUR APPLICATION"

RCMP fingerprints Record Check is for Canada: You can get it done from your city police station. Google your local police station, call and ask them. Book an appointment and get it done.
Once you get the certificate send that to CIC.

Police Clearance should not be older than 3 mnths on application submission. May be due to that you have got the request again. I am not sure. just guessing. When did you submit your file?

I have lawyer in my file and they told me they did not receive any requests.Is there any way i can find our about my application?

I applied on July 09 2014.

I think its good news for July applicants that CIC has started looking into our files..
So i want to request everyone who are getting these additional docs requests to post here.
So that we can update the spreadsheet. We will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
