My workpermit has 'Software & Comp sys evaluators' occupation. However, my actual role/duties mentioned in my Employer letter matches with NOC 2173 job duties. Hence, I have mentioned NOC 2173 in the application.And also I got AOR recently.

I think duties of ‘Software & Comp sys evaluators' occupation are different and has different NOC code.
Is there any possibility of rejecting my application?

I would appreciate your guidance on this.

No- i still never received the AOR.. I sent an email inquiry to the Sydney office but still no response. I emailed them on Sept 7... I'm just waiting to hear back from them now...

CC charged on Oct 3rd but no AOR yet.
I see that a lot of people from July and Aug threads whose CC was charged on 3rd Oct are still waiting for AOR while a few of them got it almost a week earlier.

The process is getting slower and slower by day and the wait is getting really painful.
I hope the overall process still remains 13 months as per the guidelines if not well under it as it was observed in previous.

With the transition to new process with Express Entry who knows what would be in store for all of us who would still be struck with the old process.

No AOR received as of now.
I cant even say whether they charged me in the card or not, as I have given a Bank Draft.
Many people are updating with AOR received status who have applied in the same week as that of mine.

Is there any way to find this out. Please advise

You can try asking the bank, some banks can let you know if it's been deposited or not. I used a money order (application received on August 14) and I will ask the bank in a couple of weeks if I have no AOR.

Your application was received on August 7? The last AOR was from an August 5 applicant. I'm sure your turn will be very soon.

Wait for 2 more weeks. Don't even need to go to your bank to ask about the money order because even if it was cashed out it may take 2 weeks for the bank to know.

Your work permit saying 2283 and reference letter from employer says 2173 is conflict as per my understanding. Honestly i dont how to fix this...

Whatever you do be careful, coz this gap i am pretty sure will cause problem later on.

Thanks for response , I do not know how software evaluator mentioned in my WP ,because basically I am software engingeer/designer. I did not look at my WP occupation until my friend mentioned the same recently . I have to wait and see now because I have already sumitted my application and I got AOR.
