Hello - Wanted to know if someone can help provide details as how i can find more info about our CEC PR application. Please find below summary on my case. On-Line Services PR status: 1. we received your application for PR on July 23, 2013 2. we started your processing on February 28, 2014 we were asked to re-submit RCMP certificate which we did Jan,30, 2014. We received our medical forms on Mar 22, 2014 and we did our medicals on April 1,2014 and doctor have submitted the results online on April 29,2014. Does the status should also show the medical test completed kind of thing? or our medical status is not showing on the CIC website. After that our lawyer We have already completed one year when we submitted the application and it is more than four and half months since we did our medicals. We read through the websites and most of them are saying the PR letter should come in 30-33 days. we were told that if we submit the application within or from Canada then it is faster. My application was submitted in Sydney, Nova Scotia office. I read the background check could be delaying the process or my lawyer is saying that there might be quota that was applied but Quota under CEC category started from May2014 and we did medicals in April 2014. Is there a way we can get some communication that our application didn't go through the quota when our medicals was already done in April? Does any one knows what could be causing the delays and how can we find out more from CIC? Any information or help you can provide will be much appreciated. thank you.
