Need a suggestion.

I applied CEC on July 31st. I am yet to receive AOR. No CC card also. I am almost sure it will come may be end of this month(as processing is slower now Sad)
Now My closed WP will expire on Dec20. I am planning to apply BOWP now for safer side. I heard we can apply BOWP without AOR also.

Is it ok to apply BOWP without AOR? If yes , what should be better way? Hardcopy or Online?

Hi, if you apply for the BOWP without AOR it'll be refused. The paper based application buys some time, because the processing time is over 50 days now, so there's high probability that you'll get your AOR before CIC open your case. If, on the other hand you'll submit your BOWP online, (the processing time is 5-21 days) it will be refused due to a lack of AOR for sure. In your case you have enough time to wait until you'll receive your AOR and after that apply for BOWP online.

Thanks for the update CEC_SK. We had our applications delivered on the same date however vcecpr2014 and I both used money order...

Looking at the spreadsheet and have to say i'm getting concerned now, over 9 weeks and no response from CIC. Everyone else who applied at the same time has had a response :/

They sent it back once, I fixed what was wrong and sent it in again, I have proof of delivery from 4th July

Guess what arrived in the post today, my returned PR application... I'm kicking myself pretty hard right now, I put the wrong expiry date for my CC

Oh well, lets go all over again, 3rd time lucky...
