Clark, so have you heard nothing after medical done? I share a similar timeline with you and can't be more frustrated. I work in Ottawa and CIC office is right beside me. I so much wish to have a face to face appointment with them to check what's going on. However they aren't open to the public. =(

Hey man!

I have heard absolutely nothing after MR.

The only developments post MR were CIC receiving my MR and updating ECASE Status that "MR has been received". In the frustration of waiting i also paid my RPRF fees thinking that could speed things up but each time i call CIC they have the usual things to say such as Eligibility,Security and Criminality in Progress.

The GCMS notes looked pretty good when i requested last month. Unfortunately i had missed the NOA in my original application and by the time I realized and sent it the very next day I got my MR Request.

In GCMS notes the receipt of NOA has been tagged by the VO as "For officer review eligibility" but seriously i don't think it could cause a delay.

I really don't know what's going on..on one hand it's good to see some many June and July ppl getting RPRF and PPR Requests but it also worries me that if my application has no concerns by the VO then why the hell are the other things like Security,Criminality checks taking time.

The only explanation which I have is maybe because I spent some time working in the US so not sure if these ppl are desperately digging up for some hidden past of mine ( which I am unaware of )

The whole point of providing PCC is to establish the absence of a criminal record but still not sure what's happening!!

Clark at least you have doe medical and payed RPRF, I really understand the frustration we all go through here. I even called CIC and last I heard was background check in progress? So how long do you think this background check takes? ad do they actually have agents in different countries where they inquire about your past? am really hopeless now

Hello All,
I moved to a new place 7 months ago and didn't update the address with |CIC. I have given my lawyer's address to get mails from CIC. Is this a serious issue ? i am waiting for RPRF and PPR now!!!
