What does that mean "File is now resubmitted"? Does it mean that file is pending for second review or something else?

Because i received the request for RCMP on Jan 29 2015 and i had 60 days to submit it, my due date for that was Mar 29 2015. Because i was mislead by CPC Ottawa agent i missed my due date. But then i sent them an email why i was late in submitting my RCMP request.

The CIC agent told he that they received my document on Apr 17 and my due date for review was Apr 18, instead of rejecting my file due not proving the document on time, the officer decided to re-submit my file which i am thankful for and put the Due date end of May to review my Eligibility. That is my understanding based on what the CIC agent was told me and she also mentioned that they don't have complete information for now, requested me to call back at the end of May because now they are doing background check based on the new RCMP.

i applied for GCMS notes on 30th march and expecting to get them in few days.. does anyone know if there is any delay in getting GCMS notes?

does this mean I have a pretty good chance? do they reject people before sending out medical request?

I guess doing pre-medical means we dont get MR request thus we are even more blinded about the progress of our application. Even though ECAS shows medical as received but i have absolutely no idea where do i stand with respect to my eligibility.

I applied for GCMS notes on 30 March so hopefully i get them tomorrow.. I will share once received

A quick question to those who already got theirs, was there another entry added to your ECAS saying something like "We have started processing your application for permanent residence on XXXX" just before or after the date your MR was received?

Other than the line about medicals being received, there have been no other updates to my ECAS status. Cheers.

A quick question to those who already got theirs, was there another entry added to your ECAS saying something like "We have started processing your application for permanent residence on XXXX" just before or after the date your MR was received?

My ECAS didn't get updated until after the Medical was received and then again after the RPRF was requested and then received.

Does anyone knows how long it takes cic to process requested documents ( in my case T4) while i'm waiting or medical request?
seems like most of July applicants got their medical while I got request for extra documents? Is this a bad thing or gonna slow things down for me

Hi,
I am a July 29 applicant. I was asked to send my pay stubs on April 17th afternoon. I sent them immediately by email and in the evening I got MR. So hopefully things wont be too slow for you as well. Good luck and hope for the best.

Hi,

If the CEC qualifying experience falls in 2104 it is routine for CIC to request T4 & NOA.

Good news is that someone is actually looking at your file and perhaps request for RPRF & PPR would follow soon.

Just noticed a change in my E-Case online after paying RPRF fees.One extra line has been added.


1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on April 27, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

Now eagerly waiting for passport request.
