Many people from July are waiting for MR request.
Our application received was on 14th July, PER 11th Nov, NDVO is our VO.
We still don't have second line update but we know that our file is being looked at as NDVO requested for additional documents regarding our financial status. We have a home loan so they wanted to make sure we have enough funds.

Don't lose hope.

Hi...

bhavini12 is not alone...my timeline is also closer to her...I am also waiting for MR...I don't understand why it taking so long? I have ordered GCMS 15 days back.

It's hard to understand the guidelines they follow at visa offices when it comes to the processing of applications. It's obvious that they don't work on first come first serve basis, but what should we expect? we are dealing with a government.

You are pretty much correct, I agree with the statement, whether you are in a third world or in a first world country, government formalities, bureaucracy and inconsistencies cant be eliminated, however in the first world the implemented systems are more mature that they reduce the amount of human bias and inconsistency. Hope all will get their MR soon.

Q: Before moving to Canada from India, do we need to get Income Tax clearance from India. In my case, there is an income tax demand as my employer did not deposit TDS for AY 2013-14 as it went bankrupt and is currently into CDR cell. I have intimated this to CPC against demand on efiling portal.

My worry is that if I buy tickets, would there be any likelihood of getting stuck at India immigration counter.

Dear All,

Got my 3rd Line update on March 3rd, 2015 - (July 2014 Applicant - FSW)
Visa Office: NDVO

Still waiting for DM.

Any idea what is the average time gap between 3rd Line update and DM?

Have read on several forums it is 60 - 90 days average. But have seen MANY applicants receiving the same, after one month..
Confused and anxious!!

You should ask this question in main thread to get more visibility

30-90 days is average time... but u cannot expect the right time... Applicants got DM / PPR after third line within 20 days also reported,, but some are still waiting after more than 90 days... So the only thing u can do is PRAY.......

So finally after waiting for 5.5 months, We have a second line in ECAS:

We received your application on 14th July
We started processing your application on 17th April.

Now our wait begins for MR.

VO: NDVO
PER: 11th Nov

Passport received with stamp and CPR on April 21st 2015

I am already in Toronto & CPC-Ottawa have given me two options either:
1) To call them and arrange for an appointment for near your place of residence. And they will call and arrange small interview ask questions and check bank documents etc

OR

2) usual way of going out and entering Canada via Port of entry. But i dont have USA visa.

What do u guys suggest?

Hello everyone,
I'm 8th July applicant and waiting for MR, anyone with me?
