A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Although I have not received yet PPR mail.

God Luck to all, keep faith and have patience you all would succeed.

Guys,
Need an advice on PCC.
I have 8 months old UK PCC.
Will that work now?
Advise

I can't say that will work or not but CIC recommends that your PCC shouldn't be older than 3 months at the time of submission although PCC is valid for a year. I mean it's 45-50 GBP and a bit of extra trouble, but it would be well worth getting a new one since the existing one is 8 months old.
Truthfully, I haven't seen any rejection coz of PCC being older than 3 months as long as the record is clear but I suppose you shan't take a chance.

Thanks for sharing the link. I found out Ottawa is taking 2-3 weeks for visa stamping.
Are you in Canada already?

Hi,

Welcome, all those who have applied in July 2014, please share your findings and problems here. Let's solve and share.

Thank You.

Best Regards,

Moose

Hi Moose,

I am July 15th applicant,
Received PER on 13th Nov
Visa office started processing on 18th Dec
Medical done on 2nd jan and updated by 8th.

Mistake I made is, I sent wrong RPRF fee, 550 CAD per person and worried what happens because of this?
I have not yet received PPR and DM in my ecas. Request to help.

I am also looking for the same information, I sent my passport on 20-03-2015. I think they have processed till 16-03-2015 PP sent. Crossing my fingers and waiting...

Does, involving any foreign country's PCC (in my case CHINA PCC) delays the PPR lead time?

Hi Friends,

My details are as follows

Visa Office......: NDVO
NOC Code......: 0112
Received application for permanent residence: 28/07/2014.
Started processing application: 23/01/2015.
Medical Done: 17/02/1984
Medical results have been received: 25/02/2015
Final documents along with the receipt of RPRF paid by cc received by CHC New Delhi: 12/03/2015

My major concern is that, my spouse lived in China earlier and has submitted China's PCC along with India's PCC.

Does, involving any foreign country's PCC (in my case CHINA PCC) delays the PPR lead time?

Can anyone please suggest his expert opinion.

Thanks a lot.

CIC ask for exact fee as it's not feasible for them to send you change especially if you sending a draft/money order. In your case, I could see two possible outcomes:
1 - VO shall encash your draft of $550 (each person) and won't give you remainder back which is $60 times # of people on your application.
2 - VO shall return your draft and ask you to make a new one with correct amount; very unlikely they'll go with this option although there is a slim possibility.
If VO goes with 2nd option expect few weeks delay in your PPR, nothing more serious.

Good Luck

Share the good news when you receive your passport from Ottawa. I doubt it'll happen before Easter, on average they take 14-20 days for stamping.

PCC from a few foreign countries might delay the processing but China is not one of them. Thus, having a PCC from China wouldn't delay your PPR.

Thanks Dear,

can you please suggest, how long should it take to get the PPR in my case.

Regards
