First of all update your profile(left side) , so seniors or other forum members can know about your application better.

Secondly medicals will be done for all the family members.... your wife and your son will also undergo with this process although if your son age is below 15 there will be no x-ray and blood test required. When u will receive your medical , different page with different UCI number will be assign by VO to all your family members. If you have applied through consultant they will received the mail and help you out in further process.. and if not then MR mail will hit your mail address.

Medical will be perform for adults :

(1) General health checkup of complete body..
(2) Blood pressure check (it will not go above 140/90)
(3) height and weight check
(4) chest x-ray
(5) blood checkup for HIV and VDRL
(6) Urine routine checkup

Medical will be perform for minor below age of 12

PCC is required for the country not for the states.. I dont have much idea about it ,, Seniors plz answer this query.

I
I received an email today for riff and that MR would be sent separately.
I have applied for family (myself, spouse and minor son). If someone with similar case has undergone medicals, could you please let me know if medicals need to be done for all family members or only the primary applicant?

Secondly, I need to send PCC. I was told by passport office that you can get PCC issued from only the police station or passport office corresponding to the address mentioned on my passport.
But the mail from NDVO says that I need to provide PCC for all states where I have stayed for over 6 months.
Please seniors help me if a single PCC from my home town (passport address) is enough?

Appln received date: 23rd July
Noc: 2173
MR req, rprf, pcc: today
NDVO

Seniors, can you please help me with PCC information? I have got MR and PCC submission mail.

But as per the mail from NDVO, "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period
has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance
certificate from INDIA."

Please seniors help me if a single PCC from my home town (passport address) is enough, or do I need to get it for each state that I have stayed in India?

You should have received PER by know. Contact the call center and tell them you must have missed the email from Sydney to try getting the details of your application.

I also asked the VO and they confirmed that my application has not been transfered to them and it is in initial processing phase. In fact, no PER has been issued so far.

Congrats ,looks like NDVO is now working on july applications and is taking to its final destination. Fingers crossed. Best of luck to all of us

I doubt that's the case. If you meant that they are looking to complete the procedures for all the July applicants whose applications have already been taken up for processing(2nd line update,MR,3rd line update,PPR and all),then it is fine. There are people who are still in pitch black darkness not knowing what happened to their applications after receiving PER. Wishing that those apps will also be taken up for processing as soon as possible.

Also, please let me know if we should pay RPRF in CAD or INR. As per cic site, INR amoiunt is fixed to 53400 (for 2 people) and in CAD it CAD 980. If we see today's conversion rate it would be INR 48467. Even if we include taxes, the amount would be around 50400. So, is it advisable to pay RPRF in CAD?

PCC is one for each country. Dont get confused by the state as we have centrally operational government system and not federal. State applies for countries like us/canada.

Please pay RPRF in CAD only
