It seems like 10 days ago or so, NDVO just stopped giving second line updates and MR to JULY applicants. It seems like they are doing it in spells where they take some applicants and just start processing their applications and if we are lucky enough to get inside that spell, then it's merry christmas from then onwards. It's like waiting for spotting a meteor during a meteor shower spell. But you will see atleast one, eventually. All of us who still are waiting for our updates regarding MR, just keep waiting. We are close. Each day feels like an year.

I am a July 11th Applicant. After a long wait got the second line update on 10th Feb 2015.
I changed my job and started working in the new company from 1st Feb 2015.
My question is when will the NDVO check/verify my employment details?
Will they reject the application if they find that i am not working in the company that i mentioned in the application form?
I have not informed them regarding my job change. I am waiting for my relieving letter from the previous company. Once i get it i will update the details to CIC. Is that ok??

Please advice!!

Usually VO verifies job offer after receiving RPRF fee/medical report. If you've applied in arranged employment category, you must work for same employer until you receive your PR otherwise your application will be rejected.
Just a piece of advise, when you dealing with Canadian Immigration it is always a good idea keep them abreast of any changes.
I'm not sure why you haven't received the relieving letter yet, employer is required to issue you letter the same day of your resignation.

It's hard to give you an exact estimate, but it usually takes a month, and few days

You must inform the Visa Office immediately. This may result in rejection if you had not informed them. They do the verification simultaneously as part of background check after second line update and before MR is issued....Please inform via CSE immediately

After long wait of 86 days, I've received second line update today that they started processing my file on 10th Feb.

NOC : 2133
VO : NDVO
App rcvd : 24th July 2014
PER mail : 19th Nov 2014

This has given some strength. Hope my MR comes sooner than soonest

"Medical results have been recieved"
I hope it will be cleared as the doctor also did not show any signs of worry after the medical examination

Q 1: In cases of re-medical, is there communication from VO or from medical center? If it is from medical center, it would have happened before the 3rd line, I feel.

Q2: I read on the main FSW 2014 thread, that interview is still possible (someone had one) after medical. Any views?

Q3: Does getting the RPRF DD encashed somehow indicate that PPR is sure? In that case, we should that DD encashment as a logical next milestone.

Yes indeed such news gives us strength to survive this harsh & cruel waiting process

I must've received the update between 11am to 12pm (Indian Time)..because i checked ECAS as per morning ritual but it was not there.. Then I went in meetings and when I was back at 12.15pm..BINGO

I'm sure you'll be getting it next week (in case they don't work saturdays)..
