Hi Anujshah, thanks for your reply.

I tried calling CIC they just gave me the email address to email (I did this earlier this week).

No attempts on my CC, I have even called my CC company several times and told them to expect it to be taken so they don't reject the charge.

Should I have expected my application back by now if it failed completeness checks? I know they send it snail mail, but how long would it take to get to the UK? (I presume July apps completeness checks were done in October?)
Yes true...if your application was rejected, you should have got it back..
I read some posts about returned application, 13 Aug applicant got his file many days back...
And if you are in UK, then it should be delivered.
So now just wait, no other option..
Try calling call center once again, some operators may reply.
I read in this forum only, that No news is A Good news :)

14 th July applicant. CC charged 29 october, first contact from CIC received yesterday, application refused (65 points total) :-(. Totally disappointed

The online status of my application appears in process, and they say i can not ask for a refund. Why is that????? I don't get it. The only thing they did was a completeness check (meaning that the documentation presented was complete) and "Eligibility review", calculating the points i get according to their criteria. I knew money should be returned at this point.

Please if any of you have information how can i claim for a refund and ask for my documents to be returned, let me know.

Thank you in advance i wish success to any of you.

Didn't you check your points before sending application?
If you have any doubt then I think you can raise your query, you should ask your agent or an immigration lawyer

This is totaly untrue! PER is the first information that applicant receives from CIC and, at the moment, PERs are beeing issued to 20something July applicants.

August applicants are not even in line yet, so stop spreading misinformations and scaring people!
Only August applicants with full NOCs should reapply in case that they can fit in another NOC.

Of course I can discredit you:
I'm, actually, 8.July applicant (date in my signature is entered in european manner) and received PER just two weeks ago (3.November). That was the first info from CIC I received. So, you can count yourself: 8.July + 17 days = 25. July or later!!!
I really don't know why are you doing stuff like this but, for some reason, people keep asking you for your opinion which busts your ego into cosmos and results in beeing so confident saying nonsenses like this.

July applicants who have not received their applications back via post can still expect to get their PERs. I know I got mine a good two weeks after everyone else (who applied on my application date). People who applied 10 days after me got their PERs before me and even with lower credentials (as per global SS).

I guess sometimes CIC takes its time for one reason or the other, although I thought I had sent the perfect application (documents, forms filled, payment wise etc). As per my PER email, my DD was encashed along with everyone else (who applied with me) but only my PER was delayed.

Before the PER, I tried calling CIC to no avail, I emailed them to no avail. I tried to ask the status of DD encashment from the bank that issued it to no avail. There is nothing much one can do except wait which is very frustrating but you have to remain strong. In the end, I received the golden email (PER) when I was least expecting it. The point of all this is .... if you have not received your application back by post, stay strong, you will receive PER.
