Within maybe 10 days (by Feb 10), you will get a Medical, RPRF request.
Get your medicals done, and submit the RPRF DD to the High Commission.

Can any one please advise what does the second line update means ? And when this will be updated ?

Hey Mate,

Below are the answers for your queries...with pleasure I want to answer because, we have attended medicals very recently in CMM Hyderabad.

>> Prior medical tests :
1. Yes. You can get your medical tests done from a known diagnostic center before you appear for actual medicals and check if anything is unusual, take medicine immediately for that.
2. If the illness is serious and if you think that will be caught in the actual medicals (Eg : diabetes), tell the doctor that you recently got it and you are under medication.
Otherwise no need.
3. Answer all the questions patiently and genuinely when the doctor asks for it.

>> Actual medical tests :
1. It will be in 2 stages
Stage 1
> collection of samples (Blood, urine)
(They do HIV & other test I don't remember but related to HIV kind of only)
> Chest xray
> if you say you have any illness, some relevant tests will be prescribed and you have to pay extra for that and get the tests done.
> Height/Weight checking
> vision test. (Its easy, just read the doctor's board with each eye by closing another at a time)
> BP

This won't really take more than 2 hours.

Stage 2 (Takes some 2-4 hours)
> Physical tests by Doctor
> Some questions about your health, your previous illness if any, hereditary problems.

Physical tests :
> Doctor asks us to completely remove the clothes except the inner wear for male. (They give a skirt and a shirt to female)
> He just checks if there are any scratches, surgery marks, scars, bruises on the body.

Do not worry at all. Do not feel panic or embarrassed. Its gonna be simple.

thanks for the reply..... I dont have anything serious .. but u know its a process of tension and stress......

I have done all medical test before and everything was normal but its 2 years before......

I am little bit overweight but have normal BP and sugar levels...

In general, Weight/BP/Sugar doesn't matter at all in immigration medicals.

But I know and completely understand your nervousness. Trust me, When you go for medicals, you will realize its cool.

Just be confident and remember god.

I heard that you receive MR email from NDVO at 11:00am only. Is that correct? Or you can get the mail anytime during their working hours. People who has already got the mail from NDVO please reply.

Today I saw many May applicants receiving DM (Decision Made) update mainly for NOC 217*.. Seems NDVO wants to clear May applicants first before taking in hand July applicants for further process.. I think wait for 2nd line update & MR will not get over soon. Maybe after 15th Feb 2015 we all get bombarded with good news

Any comments ?

I am 11th July applicant under NOC 2173. My ECAS 3rd line got updated on 23rd, Jan,2015. No PPR till now.
Any June/July applicant got PPR ?

People are reporting now and then that they are getting their second line updates as well as MR requests. Not regularly, but they are still coming in. But I think what you said also makes sense. More like a first come first serve policy.
