From the various posts, I understand, that while there is a clear time-gap between Application Filed - CC Charged - PER Received. There is no relation between PER Received and MR. As there is again a clarity on time-gap between 2nd Line Update - MR Received, it can be inferred that the PER - 2nd Line Update is the Background Check period and it is therefore case-dependent.

Am I right?

I stopped dreaming about my Medical. its 16 days after the second line update and I think it would take more time for me to get an update. I see from the excel sheet if your papers are convincing you would get it in 14 days time.

My friend 14 july applicant from pakistan who received MR Yesterday but i am still awaiting MR having applied 3rd july like most applicants. I think lvo is going through some cases without verification and other will be in a grind.

Hi,

Though there is definitely a pattern till the file is with CIC, there is none or hardly any when the files reach the respective visa offices as every case is unique. For all of us July applicants who are anxiously waiting for second line updation and see it as the next logical step, it might interest us that a member named Garuna on this forum, received his medical request mail first and got his second line updation later. So,let's just wait for some pleasant surprises from local visa offices.

My application was recvd on 31st July. CC charged on 14th Nov. PER recvd on 24th Nov. Awating medicals from NVDO. Noc 2132.

Hello everyone,

All July applicants, we just need to hope for the best and wait for good news...
Don't panic...we all will hear good news for sure...
And yes observed time and all is not happening now...
My PER is 65 days old now, still no second line...
It was observed that it takes 45-60 days for MR after PER...
So just keep helping everyone and be calm
