well m 8th July here..........didnt hear from CIC n my DD is still outstanding and vent received my returned package yet...dont remember any mistakes while going thru the filled up forms.... well i was in canada for 2 years and may be that could b the reason that i hadnt got the PER and hopefully they r going thru my background checks..fingers crossed.... but dont know if m still on the que or not ! really hard to wait for the mail !

that is very much a possibility because they have to pull out your old UCI number and link all your current details to that number. I think the same thing happened to me too and so my PER was delayed by 2 weeks (compared to majority of the applicants who applied on the same date). But of course I cant be 100% sure that this was the reason.

IF you have not received your package back yet, then that probably means you are still in the game.

Brother what I can tell you is that I am 2nd July DD applicant and I am still hoping to get PER (as my package have not returned to me yet). So for a 10th July applicant you should hope the same. Good luck.

Hello Guys...Am Mubarak from India..I have applied for NOC 2171 on Jul 16th and I have got an email from CIC on Nov-16th saying my application is positive. when I went through lot of posts in this forum I see everone has written that u got PER. what is that? I just got an email saying my application is positive and I got UCI no. Please let me know what is PER?

This means that you got the Positive Eligibility Review and that now you're being part of the immigration process, but it isn't over yet. Now there are more steps ahead. But congrats for this initial achievement.

My application was received on July 28th, credit card charged on Nov 11. I hadn´t receveid the PER so far, should I be worried? A lot of applicants from the same date had received (as per the spreadsheet)... As I have an UCI I could access the ECAS, but the message is "In Process" and "We have received your application on July 28".
Any thoughts?

The game is officially over when you get an official contact or your package returned. The spreadsheet is just a reference, your NOC got CAPPED on around Nov, 7th, last one that updated the SS saying that was charged happened on Nov, 10th... But lets say that you've used DD, it is taking longer than CC to get charged.... I saw that the estimated charge date to most of July 10th started on Nov, 4th and there are some folks that didn't get charged yet, so since your package have not returned yet, there are some hope.
I wish I could say something more substantial to you, but the only thing I can tell for now is, don't suffer by anticipation.

If you got an e-mail with the UCI number and it is showing "In Process", it means you are under the list of lucky people under the Positive Eligibility Review (the acronym for it is PER)and now you're being part of the immigration process. The PER doesn't mean you're already approved, but that they are finally analyzing your process.
I hope it makes you a little more calm.

Hi Guys, My application reached on 3rd July for NOC 2174.. I have not heard anything on it till now!! I guess NOC capped just before my application.. But not very sure.. I havent got any reply to query sent on 7th Oct.
Anyone in July 1st week facing the similar situation for NOC 2174?
