Called CIC today. My application had been transferred to local office at Winnipeg. Based on the posting on this forum i feel like my long waiting journey just started.. :-[

I just finished my test and interview today Feb 21 2014 at Scarborough office. It went well, the judge told me I should get my oath letter within 2 month. No RQ single applicant :D

Now reading "Discover Canada" . Really I am discovering a lot about canada. I am trying to put my head around the concept of constitutional monarch. This is in the first page of "understanding the oath". Reading through Wikipedia also.

I became the citizen this Monday, Feb 24. Overall it was very fast and straightforward process for me - less than 7 months.

Hi All,

I am glad to inform you that, today when I checked the CIC website I learnt that they have sent me the letter to appear for Citizenship test on March 17, 2014.

Citizenship

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 15, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 15, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on September 25, 2013.

We sent you a notice on February 24, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 17, 2014 at 4:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.


Hope those in waiting get it soon as well.

Can anybody refer me to the website to practice citizenship question?

Test is not that difficult. Maybe I saying since preparation was good.
In general read book carefully and give online tests.
