No news from Kw8Un0NK... he had oath on Feb 18.
 
i applied in july 2013 , got book and letter dated 10th sept in October. My test is schedule for 5th march in Mississauga. I got that letter last week.
Now reading "Discover Canada" . Really I am discovering a lot about canada. I am trying to put my head around the concept of constitutional monarch. This is in the first page of "understanding the oath". Reading through Wikipedia also.

BTW, during my interview the only supporting document the officer got interested in was travel history from my country of origin.
He made a copy of the document.

Ok Something really weird is going on. I checked the eCas for my wife and daughter today and got the following:

Wife:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 22, 2013.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 22, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We started processing your application on October 9, 2013.

Daughter:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 22, 2013.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 22, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We started processing your application on December 3, 2013.

Me:
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 22, 2013.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 22, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Does anyone know why my Daughter's in process date would be 2 months after my wife and I's?
 
At 7 months in - some interesting stats:

total applicants 23
tests scheduled 9 39%
Rqed 1 4%
Oathed 5 22%

So about 40% of applicants in this thread have had their test with only 10% (or 1) person being RQed. Come on CIC - let's keep the momentum!
 
Much faster than the June 2013 thread. Very happy for those who got test invites and esp those who completed their oath ceremonies!
